One For The Boys NHS Awareness Drive
We teamed up with Public Health England and the NHS for an NHS Awareness Drive. The goal? To get men actually picking up some leaflets in their GP surgeries that got them to pay attention to their health without feeling like it’s all dull or lecturing them.
We put together some eye-catching leaflets that were handed out at thousands of GP surgeries across the UK. And guess what? Almost every single leaflet was taken – way more than usual for these kinds of campaigns. The leaflets use a cheeky, fun approach to get men interested and talking about their health, because sometimes a little humour goes a long way.
The best part? It actually got some men to speak to their doctor about something that they otherwise wouldn’t have bothered mentioning.
At One For The Boys, we focus on three big things: spotting cancer early, supporting the mental health side of things, and helping young people who often get overlooked.
We know cancer isn’t just about what’s happening physically – it affects your mind and your whole life, and that’s why we’re here to help with all of it.
Whether it’s making sure you know what to look out for, supporting you or your loved ones through the tough times, or pushing for changes to help more people get checked sooner – we’ve got your back.
